Well...I sold my Katana without even listing it for sale, just mentioned on a local forum I had it and would sell it cheap.... :D So I went on the hunt for a 00+ super sport bike, preferably a 600 or 750. I found the perfect bike on a local forum, 2001 GSX-R 600 white/blue with Yoshimura exhaust - only 16k miles! Went and picked it up today, guy was nice and threw in front and rear stands, shop manual, all the accessories he had, and a decent HJC helmet (how I have three of those lol).

Anyway...pics even though it was dirty from the (wet) ride home :nice:

I took some pics with the stang with my girlfriends camera, so I gotta wait on those :flag:

well that gsxr right there u are looking at high 10s with a pretty good rider. My 636 has run a best now of a 7.0 at 105 in teh 1/8th thats all stock other than lowering straps. The hardest part is the launch trying to keep that front wheel down. They are very fast

becareful man and congrats.:nice:

Yeah, it's a 125mph trap bike...ET's really depend on practice. Lots, and lots of practice :D I think I could manage an 11.0-11.4 ish right now, in a few weeks when I get used to it more some better times would be possible. My last bike ran 12.9's at 110mph missing a gear (clutch cable was shot) and bogging on the launch, so this ones a bit quicker, and ALOT nicer. lolololol

I want a Gixer too, but I am still psyching my self past the "scared" part. I think I am gonna take that weekend course on riding. Suzuki has a good deal going on for their cycles up until June 30th so I would like to take advantage of that but don't know if I will be ready in time.

Yeah, for sure take a riding course. Never think you're better than the bike, or the big car barreling at you LOL.

exactly

never ever think ur better than the bike this is key. some guys dont understand they think they have 100% control over the bike and thats when the bike gets the better of them and throws them off. it has happened to me but on a dirtbike lol thank god not my street bike. the msf class is really good though i def. suggest that class.
