WHOO HOO! 500 miles and counting! DUW

Well, I officially topped 500 miles on the new combo tonight. It fired up on 5-31-07 and here it is less than 2 weeks later and I've hit the 500 mile mark. I took the car for a ride tonight to put some miles on it and I took my camera along for the ride. Here's a few pics, I'm liking my hood and front bumper more and more now. Now that I have the initial 500 break-in miles on it, I can start making some full throttle runs. I need to get some tail pipes put on the car and then hit the dyno to check the AF ratio. I bumped the fuel pressure by 4lbs when I put this combo together, but I don't know if its enough yet or not... time will tell.

And here's a pic from a local show/cruise in that I attended with Troy (Yeahloh95) on sunday. And yes, that is a Simpson car seat in the back seat of my car in this pic. Much to my delight and surprise, my daughter likes riding in the mustang!

Yeah, I was wondering the same as Dan. I'm not sure if I missed it or not but I though you were going to try a different IAC as see it that helped.

BTW- Those pictures are beautiful, the colors really pop. Car doesn't look too bad either. lol

Paul,

Put a lap belt in teh center of the back seat so you can put the car seat between the front seats. this lets you have three people comfortably... I bolted mine to the factory lower mounts.

Paul...... I guess you have been doing some driving, as I remember you only had a handful of miles when we were out at carlisle. The car is looking good with the new hood and bumper.

I wanted to ask you if you have had any problems w/ oil in the intake w/ the new Holley?
I need to do some playing around w/ mine cause im getting a tiny bit of oil in the intake track. Most likely cause of the no baffle in my valve cover, but that will be taken care of this week.

So I guess we will see you make some passes at Epping? Im curious as to what the new set up will do.
