I'm not sure on the Fairlane, but I want to say its a continuation. I'm pretty sure.

There was so much cool classic Ford iron there, several nice Mavericks, lots of Fairlanes and Galaxies, I loved it. I'm definitely going back next year. They even had an FE shootout.

The more I look at it, I'm gonna guess it's either a "continuation" or somebody's restomod. I don't think the plastic-coated "elephant trunk" A/C ductwork is period correct for the intake air pipes (could be wrong); so I'm thinking it's never been a drag car before.

Was there a "twin" next to it? I'm seeing more Fairlane trim and a slotted rim off the passenger side.

Yes, it had a twin next to it. Also on the dash it had a sticker that said "If it has wheels or t*ts, it will give you problems."
It was funny but I don't think it would've been on an original Thunderbolt.

I just went back to the Holman-Moody webpage ( holmanmoody.com ), and the Fairlanes they're "Continuing" are 64's. There's also a "GT II" clone of the early Ford GT's.

Perhaps it's the cynic in me; but I'm thinking Lee Holman has been watching the Chicken Farmer recently and wants on the Gravy Train

EDIT: OOOPS, MY MISTAKE! Further reading on their web page indicates that Holman Automotive has been building GT-II's since 1997! Maybe it was the other way around?

Beautiful cars. I won't mention the Medford Cruise, because I left my freaking camera at home on the kitchen table :bang:

They had the Ericksson's GT350-H that was in a magazine sometime back, but I was hoping to see Blown65's cars there. No dice.

Pictures don't seem to be loading for me; is that the R model that blew the motor dumping all the oil on the track on Thursday?

Anyway 2 cobra replicars got caught in the oil and went agricultural; one cracking a valance and ripping the oil cooler open. The other almost hit the corner station right by the "Biotch"

Lots on off track excursions this year; more so that others that i remember. Even a parade lap had somebody go 4 wheel off.
