Looking to buy some rear shocks

don't buy any KYBs for a fox, I have the AGX adjustable shocks and they don't make a lick of difference over plain Monroes. If you can't afford Bilsteins or Koni Yellows I'd go with the Tokico HPs (the blue ones), should be able to find them on ebay for a decent price.

I'm a college student so I can't fork out $350 or whatever it is to buy the KYB package, any recommendations?? Only plan on doing the rear ones right now, just looking for some advice

good plan my front shocks/struts were a pain in my ass  rear took 10 mins..fronts took the better part of 2 hours after doing the brakes as well.

you should. i did one a different way and was using an impact (dumb) and the nut broke the stud off of the top of my new shock. i called tokico and left them a message and they surprisingly returned it and told me to mount the bottom, let the top go up then jack the bottom part of the shock up to take the pressure off becasue if you do it the other way wen you tighten it it tries to pull the shock up.

I have KYB shocks on my that I just put on this spring, Now keep in mind my other shocks where the stocckers and they were blown but, the KYBs were inexpensive versions and the made a Huge difference in the ride. I didnt buy coil overs just the basic set due to my budget and I also replaced the struts up from with KYB GR2 and they ride fine as well. I got the 4 parts for about $ 184 !

Here is a link to the place online where I bought them from :
http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/p...&modelid=111&year=1992&partid=26&brandid=4047
and Yes thats right free shipping for orders over $50! I got the GR2 rear shocks i didn't have to replace the Quad shocks they weren't bad !
Here are the struts I put on as well :

Now they are not top of the line race ready adjustables or coil overs but I was looking for a better ride for Cruising Not racing on a very limited budget !

what he said.

87-93 should fit.

87-93 should fit? can anybody confirm that it actually does fit??

thanks a lot

but with 230k+ on my suspension, i think i will probably need the quad and rear shocks

I wouldn't spend big money on quad shocks. I just picked up the kyb ones from summit racing. The part number for the kyb quads is kg4521 , i'm sure you can find them just about any where including places like autozone, and advance auto just give them this part # for the quads.
