Welcome and congrats on what I assume is a Mustang?

What year, mileage, mods, etc?

Anyways, I suggest you spend your $1500 on:
-FRPP 4.10 gears
-SCT LiveWire
-MGW shifter, Cobra Bob shifter gaskets
-gas

Something to keep in mind:

Having a stock car with a lot of horsepower is not necessarily a good thing. I always say to do the suspension first, then mess with power. If you have a 400hp 4x4 mustang then it will be fugly, wont handle good, etc ... but it will go fast in a straight line.

Gears are the best mod for the price .. shocks, springs ... intake ... programmer ... MAINTENANCE (kilgore got my back :D ) ... That'd be a good start.

If you are installing stuff yourself, I say intake, gears, longtubes, programmer/tune, and spend whatever is left on suspension, but if you are getting things installed $1500 won't take you nearly as far as installing things yourself, probably intake/gears/tune.

Yea its a 2004 Mustang GT 4.6 of course with just a bassani exhaust its got 24,000 miles so im trying to get parts tha keep it under warranty but the gears wont really matter bc its not liek the dealership will really know??? and for the gears..i heard the 4.10's are nice but on the highway its just terrible..and my drive to work its mainly on highway but i DO want a car for the city,.(meaning i want to be the fastest to the next stop light haha) dont really care for top mph..what you think of the 3.73s?? for the programmer ...what companies are ppl suggesting..Predator Diablo?

Half what u think of that electronic sc? i was looking that up online and was thinking of getting that as well..and also witht he exhaust intake possible the electronic sc tune/ programmer, gears..how much hp and tq u think im ACTUALLY gettting tot he wheels

I have not been dyno'd yet but I was at the light with a Viper GTS and when it turned green I took off and he was at least 3 car lengths behind within a few seconds, a minivan that was behind me was actually pulling on him. So I figure I have at least 600rwhp now.

Can you just leave the forum? Every post you have posted has been pretty darn awful, like this garbage information. I'm assuming it's just sarcasm, but all of your posts are like that, and really don't help out the people who are here for information.

I use sniper for my tuning... i like it. some people disagree but i think thats because they have never used it. Go 3.73's for your gears...good choice if you plan on a sc later on. On the mid pipe do a search, people have mixed feelings. Stay away from the electric sc, its junk. Better off geting the turbonator:rlaugh: .
This site will help a ton. Listen to people and take there advice.

I still have the factory 3.27's on mine, but from what I've heard, if you're planning on staying N/A then 3.73 or 4.10's are good, search for videos of each and there's an rpm calculator out there that'll tell you at X speed, you'll be at X rpm. If you ever plan on getting a s/c (or turbo) then I say stick with the stockers.

Your factory clutch will be fine, if it starts slipping really bad, then it's time to upgrade, but you shouldn't have any issues.

I personally have an SCT XCal2, which I think is awesome, but the new sct livewire came out, I'd probably get that. The Diablosport Predator is supposed to be good too from everything I've heard.
Like some people already said, longtube headers will wake your car up. Don't waste your time on shortys. Headers are a lot of work, and you need to be very paitient to install them, but you'll be happy when you're done. The most affordable brands of headers and midpipes are MAC and BBK, both of which have great reputations. The higher end includes Hooker and Kooks, neither of which you can go wrong with, but they're roughly twice the price of the other brands.

As for midpipes, basically there are 2 kinds (as you probably know) H and X, the H's sound deeper and keep some of the hp/tq lost at low ends from the X. The X though performs better at higher rpm levels, thus netting a higher peak hp level. They also sound slightly higher in pitch that the rumbly H's. Mac makes a prochamber which is supposedly the quietest of them all. I have one and I love it.

Also, you obviously need to decide if you're getting longtubes or not before you order the midpipe, and whether or not you want cats.

Good luck:nice:
