Hey guys
I took off my oil pan to check rod bearings and I disconnected a sensor right under the oil filter.(connected to a pipe that's also connected to the oil filter)

Is that oil pressor/temperature sensor?
How is it hooked back on?
Somehow it got knocked off when we were unbolting the oil pan.

It looks like it screws on but how, since there us a cable connected to the sensor.
You can't turn the whole thing.

Thanks
Patrick

That should be the oil pressure sensor (switch in later mustang). The sensor is threaded and the electrical connector is plug-in with a tab to lock in place.

Thanks bro, got it.

Something screwed up happened.
The little t-piece that comes from the oil filter down to the sensor broke off.
Half the threading broke off of the bolt inside the hole.
I don't know what the owner before did. It looks like it was almost broken off so he siliconed it on.

The car is supercharged (Vortech) and I'm guessing this piece is a vortech piece (because of the oil line). Can this be bought?

Also what is the piece above it that goes into the block?Because that's where the bolt broke off. The threading is still stuck inside the hole.

Thanks
Patrick
