Say has anyone ever removed their SLP Loudmouths and put stock mufflers back on? I have a Brenspeed tune and not sure if swapping out the mufflers would create problems for me.

no it won't create any problems...

however IMO, SLP LM1 sounds horrible!

like a farm truck IMO...i know i'll probably get bashed for that comment, but its just a opinion. :notnice:

i would go with jba/bassani/magnaflow/corsa...something of the sort.

bashed?:bang:

lol he wanted to know if it will conflict with his tune, I'm sure he knows what they sound like.

I'll have to post a video for you one day and show you the baddest Farm truck you have ever heard.

No, you will be ok switching back to the stock mufflers

BTW, who the HELL would pay 360 bucks for straight pipes and tips??? You people are out of your mind!

i've heard slp's lm1's with a o/r h...that setup doesn't really tickle my pickle

but hey, to each their own. some love it, some doesn't.

why spend $300+ on some mufflers/tips that sound like tinny rice?

The pro-chamber acts different then a O/R H...It gives it a deeper growl yet still screams at WOT.

I do want to see some vids of that mid-muffler system from pypes though!

If you can make the same part as the SLP with stainless 304 and have a 3 ½” polished tip for $100, get to making them and put them in the classifieds. You will sell plenty. Hell, throw a few bucks on for the trouble and sell them for $120.

For one, we only bend aluminized pipe, not stainless. :( And it won't be a mandrel bend. But the tips would be stainless. It pains me to see you guys pay that much for Loudmouths when all they are are straight pipes with nice tips! We could easily turn out some aluminized versions with stainless tips for that price. And seeing how some of the Loudmouths' hangers rust off on their tips sucks too.
