Is the ford 8" a bit of a smaller axle tube or something? With various trips to autozone and other auto parts stores I have found out most of the "universal" lowering block kits will not fit the 8" due to the fact that the U bolts are the wrong inner curve size. They are a 3" or something, and the 8" ford needs the ones that are 2.5". I could only find stock replacement U bolts, and aftermarket U bolts not made for a drop due to being only stock length.

Ended up ordering 50 dollar set from mustangsplus.

The things to lower my car 2 inches cost more than the paint and materials to paint my car red.......

I hate it when I can't be cheap :rlaugh:

Never mind, my cheapness came through. I canceled my order and got new u bolts bent at a spring shop for 15 bucks. The blocks that come in the kit are perfect, its just the bolts that don't work.

I have brand new stock leafs, ill take a picture of the results after I get em on
