Flowmasters are not built well

VIDEO !!!!FLOWMASTERS ARE NOT BUILT WELL- VIDEO!!

2 Vids /flows+ X Pipe+ Resonators + Blown Baffles

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are 2 vids that flowmaster owners should watch.
The off road xpipe, flowmaster and vibrant resononator set up. I have to admit, the out come was a lot better than I thought. The sound is great. deeper, less rasp, interior noise tolerable, and more low end torque. The over all sound is more refined and mean at the same time. I 100% suggest getting the vibrant resonators if ya have the the x pipe and flowmaster.
Vid 2 shows a closer look at the broken welds on my American Thunder Flowmaster
system. What's sad about this is that I'm not the only one facing this problem

vid 3 shows another flowmaster owner with the same problem

I'm the one with the vid #3.
I don't know if it was due to the swapping in the O/R pipe that could have lead to that or if it is just bad materials...I installed the first pair within the first week of owning the car. The H pipe was installed at just over 12K miles. 3K miles later the "buzz" appeared. They sent me brand new replacement mufflers(took about 2 weeks however). It has been about 6K miles since putting the new Flows on and there is no "buzz"...yet. Here again is the video I posted back in April.

This is not news to me. I would never buy a flowmaster muffler because of its "quality" , typically its purchased for its "perceived" sound. Flowmaster does a tremendous job of marketing , but from spending the last 10 years in the exhaust business I can attest that there are other products on the market of better quality.

inappropriate ?????

I've had no issues with mine but to flatly say they're not built well is inappropriate. Sure there are better built products out there but the same can be said of just about any product of any type.

I don't think it's inappropriate to say that they are not built well. I have not heard one complaint about other chambered mufflers failing at all. However I read lots of unhappy Flowmaster owners with the same problem. Flowmaster needs to address the issue . If they don't I'm willing to bet that the number of Flowmaster sales will drop with the new mustang owners. There are flowmaster owners out there just like me that have the same problen that didn't even realize that the buzzing was coming from inside the muffler. All I can say is HOLD ON TO YOUR RECIEPT because you may need it.
