What is the difference between the Fox (87-93) and SN95 (94-04) struts. Will SN95 struts/shocks work on Fox mustangs? What are the correct struts when using SN95 spindles and brakes? I have 99 spindles and brakes from a Cobra on my 86 if that matters. I have 87-93 struts on the car now, but they are in need of change so I was just wondering what the correct application is.

The later model struts are longer. There's a better chance of bottoming out the struts though there are MANY folks who have run the later struts with no issues. If you're buying them new, I'd buy struts for your model year. If you have a set of used late model struts (free basically) then use them. Replace them if you have a problem.

Well my car already sits really low and I have bottoming out issues as it is so I guess I'll be sticking with the 87-93 struts.

If you are bottoming out Fox Struts and Shocks then Do Not use SN95s! You might want to consider some CC Plates as you can raise the Mounting Position of the Top of The Struts which will give you some added travel.
