Is there any easy way to remove the wax from the black plastic bits on the outside of the car (like the strips below the side windows and the base of the antenna)? I've waxed my car a few times and tried not to get any on those parts but did anyway and it looks crappy with dried white wax on them.

I'm pretty anal when I wax my car. I tape of the black trim to keep the wax off. I tape one side, apply wax and then use the tape on the opposite side. However if you get it on the trim, WD-40 will take it off. I have tried other cleaners but WD-40 is the s**t!

I use a soft bristle toothbrush. It gets the white wax out of the tiny indentations on most of the black plastic trim. Hold it against the plastic and tap it into the trim repeatedly while keeping the bristles perpendicular to the surface. This works a lot better than rubbing something on it since it gets into the pores to dislodge the wax rather than trying to dissolve it with some solvent. Also the soft bristles won't hardly damage anything.
