Well I decided to keep my 5.0 and I just got a job where I will be making 300-450 a week, and I will be having a school refund check coming in august so it will be modding time heh.
In the next weeks I will be buying a rear end from that is insanely clean, and has 410's.
Then do the ac delete, underdrives and delete smog pump.
I already have full exhaust, cold air, and an E cam, Ford mass air and 19lb injectors and AFPR and a 255.
Before the winter I will be buying a Paxton Novi 1200 and then having it tuned at CRT performance in Norwalk, Ohio.
Any of the guys here got any input, on like what else I should get or any other tips

Well if you're going supercharged you're not gonna want the 4.10's. More likely than not you would be more happy with 3.55's. You probably know this but again, if you're going supercharged, you're going to want to upgrade the mass air and the injectors along with other things ( didn't mention heads? ).

Where are you from if you're going to CRT? And what kind of car do you have?

naw!! keep the 410's in 3rd that thing will pull unreal!! with the mods u have it will prolly keep it hooked up in 2nd for the most part, with some mt drag radials. If I were you I would get some heads and an intake on it before a blower, just for the reliabilty part but to each his own.

I knew I need to upgrade mass and injectors and throttle body. But what sizes would be adaquate. Why not 410's? At the moment I do not want heads, I will do that later down the road, I will put new heads on, when I redo the motor to handle alot of power. And I got a 88 gt im from Lakewood, Ohio...not to far from CRT, and I hear they are some of the cream of the crop tuners for 5.0's

As someone with a T-5 and 4.10's, trust me, they are WAY too much gear. They're fun, yes, and they are streetable, but you will NEVER be able to launch those things on street tires, PERIOD. Even on a stock H/C/I car like mine, nothing short of a DR or slicks will allow you to hook at all on the street or track, no matter how you feather the clutch - if the throttle goes past 3/4 in 1st or at WOT in 2nd under 20mph, you WILL spin 'em.

Additionally, I am almost completely topped out in RPM's in 4th gear when I cross the traps in the 1/4 mile.

Fun if you like to impress folks with burnouts, though, or just like to be able to romp on the throttle and get that feeling of pull in just about any gear, but you're better off with stock gears, especially if you're planning on supercharging, later on.

Yeah, 4.10s would just be too much gear for a supercharged car. 1st would be 100% useless on the street, and probably most of 2nd. If you're adding all that power you should seriously look into SFCs, torque boxes, and maybe control arms to help put the power down and not hurt the chassis.

What were you trapping... I have 3.73s and at 108 mph traps (probably really going 109-110) I was just getting the shift light on 50 feet or so after the beams (5600-5700 for the light). My dads 4.30 car on a 26x11.5 ET Street was trapping 112 (really pulling 113-114) in 4th at about 6000 RPM. I also was able to hit second hard on the street tires at the track. On the street it is useless, but if you pedal it, you can drive them fine.

I will say if your not a racer then avoid them, and if you plan on boost avoid them as well.

4:10 on an automatic would be great for street... I had a 5 speed geared that low once... fun as hell to pull sideways just giving more gas at around or higher than 40mph  But gets real boring and expensive on the highway...

Last year (before setting the timing up from a weird 8* to a much nicer 14*, and before exhaust), it ran 15.0 @ 98 MPH. I know it's got a LOT more potential than that, but I absolutely can NOT get the thing to hook for the life of me on street tires. That, and I granny-shift. :(

to each his own i supose. i had a 5spd with 4:10's and love the torque it had down low but i hated the short first gear and having to shift really quick. If i had to do it over i would go 3:73 next time with a 5spd and 4:10 with an auto!
