99 cobra recall

im considering buying a 1999 cobra or a 2000 gt for decent prices. I have noticed that 1/4 mile times for the cobra are listed as 13.9 and the gt's are 14.1, was wondering if the 1/4 mile time for the cobra is before or after the recall repairs? will the cobra 13.4-5's after the repairs or 13.9 accurate. if it is accurate i will just purchase the gt and save some money.

If you decide down the road that you want to mod the 2v you will not be saving money. You pay for what you get and imo its a no brainer when deciding to go 2V or 4V. 4V FTW

All of those times were pre-recall. A 99 cobra with "the fix" should be a mid 13 second car.

A 99 cobra should run 13.6 with a good driver.

How can you tell without testing the car if it was recalled and fixed from 305 HP to 320 HP?

Best I got my 99 Cobra to run was 13.7 with the fix. But I'll admit I'm no John Force
