*PICS* My 331 stroker

Do yourself a favor and get rid of that MSD dizzy, I just wasted alotta money because of one of them! my tuner was fighting it for quite sometime. sure enough the MSD was the culprit! that was with AEM EMS. then my other car had one in it also, SCT tuned could never figure out why it had this surging idle? until now! both are now running stockers and no problems.

Im not sure if its just a bad one or not, but believe me! i really wanted to keep that bling, but im tellin you man, the car had all kinds of ignition problems, surging idle, just randomly shut off at certain engine temps. crazy stuff. swapped it out, and idled perfect, ran for 40 minutes straight, never died. Just a heads up, dont want to see anybody else waste money on one of them silly things.

I went ahead and got some BBK longtubes:D Chrome though but it's better than nothing, I will have them FULLY jet hot coated next year when funds allow for that.

heres my dyno chart...

finally got it on here...

http://good-times.webshots.com/album/560012632RNaHFY

Take the torque #'s and divide by 3.55 (rear end ratio) to get #'s your used to seeing. Also the 8th column is the correction factor which seems high to me so I would divide the hp and tq #'s by that to get uncorrected numbers.

By the way...I know the chart does not go to 6k rpms (theres an extra sheet that does and is not included) but the corrected HP numbers stay at 399.whatever up to 6 grand. So I essentially have a flat hp curve from 5300 to 6000rpm:eek: .:nice:

tmoss you wanna analyze this for me....:D

For those who dont want to do the math....uncorrected peak hp is 334.18@5407rpm

peak torque is 355.38 at 4301rpm.

I remember it being a 90+ deg. day with 100% humidity..anyone want to make an estimate on a SAE correction factor.

That's what I'm talking about! :nice: Post some vids when you get a chance to rip down the road.

Did you get a wideband? Don set mine up a bit on the lean side for the start up so the rings would seat well.

Also what size injectors are you going with? That's tape in the picture right?

No wideband...humm should i have gotten one??? I thought I didnt need it since it was beign dyno tuned, I have no idea what it is for, I will for sure post up some video's from the moment it fires to the quarter mile :) yes thats tape, for injectors I went with 24's with a 80mm LMAF
