So I started to pull my tranny to replace my rms and i pulled of my old beaten bbk h pipe, I have a new cat back and x pipe that is going back on the car when my rms is replaced. I pulled the new x pipe out of the box to compare to the old h pipe. Almost the same but a little different. i go to check to see if it will bolt up to my bbk headers and not going to happen. i just called summit racing to see if my order is correct and it is for my year and model. The headers are about 6 years old. Did bbk change the flange location on the same headers. I cant figure this out. The old h pipe is also a bbk unit. I even went to bbk site to see, and it says I have the correct stuff. BUT I DONT.

Mine wasn't even close. Purchase BBK long tubes and BBK x-pipe at the same time from Summit a couple years ago. Just got around to installing the headers this year and having the exhaust done. Exhaust guy had to actually chop one flange off and weld it back on inward about two inches to get the x-pipe on the headers. Needless to say, he wasn't very impressed.

my x pipe is a struggle to fit corectly... had to do some serious bending the first time installing. now it fits decent but my headers wont sit correcly with the way the x pipe is on it. sounds good and produces the power so it fine by me

My BBK X-pipe didn't fit the stock headers or the BBK headers I bought. I got sick of the X-pipe leaking, so I got a MAC H-pipe and the problem was fixed. BBK is junk, I bought their fuel pressure regulator and it broke after 2,000 miles. The regulator was more than a year old so they would not give me a new one. I will never buy another BBK part for any vehicle!

I would not touch BBK stuff. I was almost impressed with the headers but when I tried to add a catted H-pipe it was a lesson in futility. I felt like I wrestled a gorilla for 4 hours. and the thing never did make a good seal. took the pipe off and got rid of it but not before taking a good close look at how poorly the thing was fabricated. The Socket that comes up to the collector was flaring off from center in the same direction for both sides so the drivers side was at least 3" off. I have no Idea how I got it on to begin with. For $399.00 you would think they could give it a once over and do a little quality control.
