I was hoping folks could post pics of their 05+ Spring set ups. I pick up my 07 tomorrow, and I am not sure which I will go with yet. Also, if you could post the brand, model of springs, and if you needed cc plates or alignment bolts to bring it true, I would appreciate it. Also, any exhaust clips or recommendations would also be great - I plan to do an axle back system off the top.

This is going to be my daily driver so I need to be sure...at the same time, I can't drive a 4x4 Stang...reputation based on my 2000 GT of course. :) For Springs, I am considering the H&R Super Sports or Eibach Sportlines and for Exhaust, Flowmaster American Thunder...opinions and experiences would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance; hoping to order the springs Tuesday and install later this week.

Eibach Pro Kit, No camber kit or adj pan needed. Easy install too.

I've heard mixed reviews on the Flowmasters. I've seen a LOT of people in the classifieds sections of other boards selling theirs. I have the Pypes Violators. Great price, very nice tips, and they sound fantastic. Just like stock, only louder and lower pitched. Ford got the sound right, they just made it too quiet.

hey silver i bet your excited to get that car already! let me guess u got a silver one! congrats...

anyways, eibach sportlines will give u a good drop, i had to use camber
bolts ($30) for mine...exhaust set-up, like anything else everybody has
their preference! u can run bassani for $800 or you can run flowmaster for $300!
just remember if you are planning to run an off road pipe beware of the raspy ricer like sound. good luck and post some pictures...:nice:

I've installed the flow 40 but with the single chamber and a Pypes O/R H pipe, nothing ricer or raspy bout that sound. Damn near sounds like a big block. Granted I had to find a muffler shop to do the install, but all in all it still worked out a couple dollars cheaper than buying "pre assembled direct bolt up" system. I'm real happy w perf levels and sound.

I have the FRPP K springs. No CC plates or anything. It aligned perfect and the guy I had do them is a mustang guy himself and he said I did not need anything else done.

I also have Bassani exhaust

FRPP "K" springs, with no camber bolts, ours aligned back to spec without them, plus we are running the FRPP Stingers. the stingers don't line up well to the bumper cutouts, but i wanted all FRPP's on this car, it's just a pet peeve of mine. they are aligned better now with some adjustment that i made to the hangers and the exhaust pipes...

I have installed Steeda Sport Springs on 2 different S197's and both guys liked them. Both of them also had MAC flowpaths with 4"tips installed as well. Although it sounds big the 4" tip looks perfect on the rear of the new mustangs

What springs are you running in the red car? ANy other suspension mods needed? Car looks great.

Roush Springs over Tokico D-specs paired with 20" wheels running 275/35s all round:

Originally had a Corsa on mine but being supercharged, it was only loud at WOT so I had a custom-made exhaust to amplify the noise down low. Could still be louder though but my neighbours seem to think it's loud enough.

sorry to revive an old thread, but im about to buy an exhaust for my 06. my question is, on a few of the pics, the tailpipes stick out a good amount past the bumper. is there any adjustment in the systems to sit them in farther? im looking at the bassani or the borla, but want to make sure the tips will sit in the stock location first.
