Come on boys and girls lets give the mods something to do. I know xplict is in the middle of his build which he should have taken plenty of pics of and and I'm sure he's not the only one. I'd post pics of my talon build up but it's stangnet and I like my nuts right where they are thanks ;).

I should be running low 13's high 12's by the end of the month with my 4 pot so what you guys got?

Oh and btw, I have my new C&L sample tube on its way, will be here tomorrow. So lots of vroom vroom this weekend :D

What noise would you be referring to? Would it be the sound of my Eaton blown, full exhaust, pounding 4.6L drowning out the sewing machine like hum of your 4-pot while going up the track, or the sound of your glass like Eagle transmission grenading under the load of your first power shift? ;)

Nah The sound of my AWD burnout after loading my stall on my bulletproof dsm autotrans and letting it sit there till I get passed 25PSI and unload all the rod snapping crankwalking fury that thing can muster so i can build me a new motor noise. I love my talon but until I get a stronger motor in there it's not making too many threats. I'll be building another stang in the next couple of years. The withdrawl is killing me.

You have an eaton blown 4.6 cougar? Sounds cool have any more info on it?

It probably woudn't be so bad if I could get some tires on her. I did a half assed dyno run with it last week (until my fuel pump crapped out  ) and it was putting out over 450lbs/ft of torque at the flywheel. So getting it out of the hole on street tires is a little rough. ;)

I tried running it in the 1/8 mile last weekend, but between lousy track prep, bad weather (cold and rainy) and excessive bottom end torque I was only able to cut high 2.4 sixty foot times. :bang:

With a set of good tires and after I've had it re-dyno'd and tuned for 94-Octane, it should be good for mid/low-12's.....which isn't so bad considering how much of a "porker" she is. :D

Mine should be a might bit different in the next few weeks. We think we have finally figured out the tuning issues we've been having. Not a manifold leak or cam timing, figure it's a bad computer. I ordered up a 98 GT computer last week. Hasn't shown up yet. Hopefully we'll see close to 500rwhp with her. Thanks again Matt :nice: .
