bushing kits for rearend....

Make sure that if you do buy poloyurethane bushings to not use poly in the diff houseing. Put them in the lower control arms and only one in the uppers. Be careful when you put them in too. Your car will react differently. I drove my car on the track after I did mine and with rubber bushings, you can tell when the rear is going to kick out, with poly, you get grip and grip and then your rear will come around and scare the piss out of you. I just installed a panhard bar and no more rear end crazinness.....unless you really get on it.

I hate bringing stuff back from the dead, but I have searched for a while and found nothing.

This would be a follow up to the OPs question. How is everyone removing the original bushings from the control arms? A friend tried just pressing them out and was getting nowhere. Any ideas?

heat them with a torch. get the inner sleeve hot until it starts smoking good, then push it out. then heat the outer shell til it starts smoking, then push it out. super easy that way. wear rubber gloves, the rubber gets super gooey. dont take the outer shells out if you are planning on using urethane bushings as they reuse your stock shells

Yeah you got to heat them good with a torch -- the rubber bushings are glued to the shell. I found that using a 3-jaw puller in conjuction with heating the bushing shell worked really well. I was able to use the puller to "push" the rubber bushings out of the casing.
