does the t-45 transmission bolt to the bell housing from the outside like a t-5's or does it bolt on from inside the bell housing? if it does bolt on from nside the bell housing how hard is it to remove the tranny with the car on jack stands? approximatly how long should this take?

Well, i actually think it does come aprart. But bolts are inside of belhousing
(I thought about this when I was removing T-45. no luck. You'll have to remove the entire trans and belhousing as 1 big ol' heavy azz unit..

Do you have LT? if no, about 3~4 hrs depending on how good you are(I can get it out under 1.5hrs. But i had alot of practice...).
If you have LT, don't plan anything for at least day

Well yes, you are right. It does come off, but not in a practical way :D

okay guys i did it laying in dirt with long tubes on and i managed to get it out, modify my cross member and get a tremec 3650 in, in about 5 hours. i started before unch and was finished mid after noon. my car was like 3 fet in the air. it wasnt cool. thought it was gonna fall on me. and guess what else the junk ard tremec s broke so i got to take it back out get another one and do it again. it is incredibly hard to put it back in. it wasnt that bad getting it out.
