Anyone know how to re-wire 94 to 03 Cobra Seats?

I think someone just talked about it (JP?). IIRC, he said the Snake seats have two power and two grounds so he merged the wiring and used aftermarket connectors to mate the seat wiring to the chassis wiring.

Certainly read NOTHING into what I said - it's only mentioned in case you feel like trying to find his post. It was on one of the Viper seat threads IIRC.

Good luck and enjoy!

Yeah HISSIN that was me. Two powers and Two grounds on my GT seats. I went to radio shack and they have white pin connectors. I got the two pin set up. YOu crimp the pins onto the wires and then click the pins into the connectors. I wired the two powers together and the two grounds together and then connected the pin. I got all my power options on the GT seats.

Davin, WhiteDevil, where did you guys get your seats. I want a black set.
Local guy totaled 02 GT

Bosko - did a search, just didn't search for "POS seat problems". Good thread though, thanks.

I did the re-wire..for the record I don't thinks it's two power and two grounds. It was like cjones referenced; there are 2 power (green) and one common ground (12 gag black). The third wire is grayish-brown with a blue strip and is for the seatbelt chime. Since the seatbelt connector is removed for our cars anyway, I just left this one alone.

Methodical - as far as where to get seats, you really just have to keep your eyes on the classifieds and see if any are in your area. Check if there are any local clubs or club web sites too, these are great resources.

good stuff.
the wiring of the 02 power seat harness was what i needed.
i picked up a set for $155 today.
the only flaw is there is a little tear on the driver seat.
i wonder how much it will cost to be repaired?
heres a few pics.

passanger side installed already.

That's a deal Harvey. Nicely done! Even if that repair is a little pricey, it's still a great deal.

If nothing else, ask around in your local Classic Mustang club forum. Those guys generally know the good local upholstery places.

thank's for the tip,Hissin.
these were too good to pass up.
i was unaware of the driver seat isssue before i bought these, otherwise i would have grabed the power seat track at the same time.
i just looked at the prices online.
the seats are going for $400+,
