A couple clutches came in today...

One is for the Stang...a Centerforce Dual Friction. The other one...Porsche Carrera GT.

17 Bills for a clutch! :bang:

No joke...he brought it in about a month ago complaining about it, our head Porsche tech drove it numerous times and told him that it's fine (car has a little over 3k miles and by nature you have to pretty much slip the clutch to launch) but after he picked it up he said he wanted to put one in because it "just doesn't feel right".
What gets me is how small it is for a car with 605 hp and 435 lb-ft of torque. It also weighed a HECK of a lot less than my clutch.

All Porshe cars are expensive to maintain and
maintenance. They are not a good bang for the buck either.
Great clutch choice though I always liked my Centerforce DF
clutch congrats. :nice:

I worked with a guy who had an 80's model Porsche. He had a taillight bulb go out and it cost him close to $80 for a new light. It had to be special ordered from Europe.

What's great is that he's an older man that owns the Carrera GT, an Aston-Martin DB7 Vantage, a Bentley Corniche and a Ferrari 612 Scagletti (pretty sure I'm missing something) and he drives all of them like they should be driven. A couple Saturdays ago he passed me in the Carrera while I was cruising around town and he sure wasn't granny driving :nice:
