Hurst Shifter Break in?

I dunno guys, while it looks really cool, I can't say I'm thrilled with how it shifts.

its definatley different than stock, but in 2 weeks you wont notice it as much. the more you shift it, the more used to it and it becomes "normal" to you. drive it for a while, and then make your decision. if you dont like it, then thats fine. its all about personal preference since you will be driving it everyday. :)

I'm definitely trying to keep an open mind.....I'll give it some more time and report back. :)

How much taller is the hurst shifter over stock ? I want one myself for the retro look if nothing else. The stock shifter is so short, back in the day, a hurst shifter was like a foot tall with a t-handle, or the comp-plus was 8" tall with a ball. My stock shifter barley sticks up past the console, feels odd. Hopeing the hurst will be a bit taller.
