I wouldn't go over a 50 hp shot without a custom tune myself but I always liked being on the safe side with nitrous. Even then you need colder plugs and only run high octain gas when you hit it. Here's a link for 6 cyl kits and at a very good price. You should still get an rpm window switch though to make sure it doesn't come on at to low of an rpm.

P.S. NOS is a brand, not just nitrous.

You can get a NX www.nitrousexpress.com kit. All wet kits can be adapted for the v6's, they are marketed for the v8's for they think that people cannot hype up a sixer.

Well, I have mine running 350+ rwtq on the bottle and running 12's in the 1/4 it is worth the money

Do you have your timeslips for your bottle runs? 12's is pretty darn impressive. I've been MIA from these boards that I don't know who runs a fast V6 anymore.

I do not have a full quarter run, I do have a 8.11 in the 1/8 that translates to a 12.7 in the 1/4. YOu also have to think that there is suspension upgrades and a few other goodies and not just a bolt on nitrous kit getting these numbers.

what kinda shot are you running and whats your set up
i dont see a 75 shot or 100 doing 12.6-12.7 with out a bigger shot orr a mildly modded engine

You are right, I have some suspension upgrades, i have full exhaust upgrades, i have a cam upgrade with rockers and springs.

I will be making some full 1/4 passes soon I hope. I wanted to go to FFW Bristol but I doubt that will work out.

You're getting defensive, I was saying you can't run mid 12's and have 350+ rwhp without other go fast parts (cam, springs and rockers, tires, suspension) which you admitted to. The video shows a 13.6 run (before the cam, rockers & springs), not a mid 12 which means another 100 hp. Naturally with the upgrades and juice you can run mid 12's but not on just spray alone (with a stock V6).

You need to look again, even the commentator, 13.16 and you are correct, it is not a 12 but that was without the cam installed. That was a stock v6 motor (virgin) on nitrous.

Running even in the 13's is very impressive with a stock (motor) V6 for sure but all I was saying was you can't run mid 12's being totally stock with these cars. Even if the motor held up with close to a 200 hp shot the suspension, open rear end and tires would hold it back and those = "go fast parts".

Well, with some DR's full bolt ons and 4.10's in my GT, most will make around 260rwhp and 320 rwtq, and that is capable of high 12's, so hitting a high 12 with a modified V6 with nitrous I see being possible. However with out a built rear end and t-lok you are asking for alittle trouble. Plus even so, it's possible on paper but doing it on the track is alot harder especially running that fast.
