I have a 3000 stall in my tranny and I was wondering how long will it last or should I go ahead and start saving for a c4.

If you are using a $300 converter with a 250 HP engine, should last serveral years if you keep it clean. If you have that same $300 converter behind a 500 HP engine, be lucky to make it a year.

I have a 3500 converter behind mine, making over 500 HP, and it has been in there for years.

It's going to be awhile before I see 500+hp in my car. My next engine will be a 351W stroking it to a 393 with twin turbo.
