Met the girl of my dreams today

Andy, congrats on the engagement. I don't think any of us would think she'd say no.

As far as the moving of the car, I might be picking up some car parts in the Wichita area next year, I would be pulling a steel deck car hauler with dovetail behind my SportTrac. It doesn't have a winch but if the closet crew is there, we could push it up onto the trailer and haul it to storage, therefore keeping it's semi-virgin status (after taking the obligatory StangNet group pics with the car :D ).

Don't hold me to it, but it's a distinct possibility, and I'm in the OKC area so the haul isn't that far.

Man thats awesome. The more the better. Yeah i know its a little early to guarantee any attendance. I am sure we can work something out with the car. Anybody know how to get the ball rolling on getting our passports. Another thing, do we need to get her passport with my last name or hers, since really she will be a rose on the vacation.

Are you going through a travel agent? If so, ask them about the name/passport situation. You may have to take a copy of the marriage license or certificate w/ you. Also, if you want to hint to family and friends who may give you money as a gift--tell them if they write a check to make it out to you only. Not to her, or the two of you. It makes it a LOT easier to cash them, especially if you want the cash for your honeymoon. Otherwise, there may be a lot more red tape to go through when you're trying to get away for your trip (due to name changes, joint vs. individual accounts, etc.). Kind of hard to make that request in a tactful way, though.

Congrats on all the good news. But sorry to hear about the low-lifes who broke into your truck.

Haven't really decided if we are going to use a travel agent. I kinda want to do one of those fancy Sandals all inclusive vacations to Jamaica. We both love the sun and the sand (as you can see from the beach dinner) so thats kinda what we decided, my friend went down there last December for his honey moon and loved it! He said you could eat and drink all you want 24 hours a day and never have to pay a dime. We will see what i can afford. But it doesn't look like i would need a travel agent for any of that. My mom said they may be able to cut us a little better deal.

No prob, plus it'll give me a chance to take a "coulda been" pic since my '67 'vert was totaled in '86. It would have been red with red interior and a white top, although I would have installed a black top later on.

Okay, I'm gonna TRY to be serious first......

Okay, first I think you're going to be stuck with her getting a Passport in her maiden name (right now); since it is her legal name (right now) untill the moment the Marriage License is signed off. 'Cause she could suddenly change her mind, doncha know.

Now that the serious part of my response is done with; I can get on with the first thing that came to my mind when I read the last part of your post (which I conveniently highlighted for those whose minds didn't fly off in a tangent like mine did)......

Dude, if you guys end up buying a house with a white picket fence and two English Sheepdogs in the front yard; I'm gonna douse myself with 91 octane, light a match, and run screaming through your artsy-fartsy living room bay window!! Little lace curtains and all!

A green slimey myopic one eyed critter running around on fire..........................

hmmmmmmm....except after the fire, I doubt you'll be green and slimey, more like black and crusty.

and they say Gingie is half=baked.

Well with the scraggly beard and most likely shaggy length grey hair I guess Dad could look like a stoner...
Wrong! Shaved up and trimmed up the goatee and have gotten two haircuts since you saw me last. Seems I gotta start looking "respectable" since somebody told me I needed to go into Rodeo management!
but the old guy glasses make me think more of Tommy Cheech's character on that 70s show.
And wrong again! It's Tommy Chong!
Richard "Cheech" Marin was the clean-cut (balding) "East L.A. Mess-kin" half of that duo. I thought I taught you to know stuff like this!

Back from vacation and catching up.

June 21, eh? So far, that date is good. Should the closet crew consider this an invite? It could be alot of fun.

StD and I will be the old "stoners"! StD and Fritz - Well??????

Ummmm.....Dan, y'know I AM older than StDr.......

As for the "stoner" part, in the words of Hank A., "My only comment is, "No Comment!" "

I know I have the date off ('cause it's my Hatching Day) but as far as travel days, etc......I don't know. Seems that for some strange reason (something to do with abominable surgery) I have no time left on the books, and I STILL have to find time to go visit my Dad!:(

Andy, you and Miss Heather could make it easier on us East Coasters, and get married this away! NY, PA, CT or MA would work GREAT!:nice:
