Not so convinced either it was a curb.
Southside bars are extremely bad for a street car, i know from experience, because i tore a torque box off the car without any curbs.
They have zero give since they don't have any bushings, more like bearings that only go up and down. And with the L braclet they cause the arm to push in and up on the box, which it is not reinforced.
