i replaced my left rear caliper, caliper bracket from the stuck sliders and new pad. bled the brakes after that and 2 days later, im driving and start smelling either clutch or brake bad. i get out of my car to find my left rear brake pads smoking. anyone have any suggestions. i havent had the chance to pull it apart again. someone mentioned the brake hose being bad not letting the fluid go back out.

I had a caliper go bad so I did the 4 wheel cobra upgrade... That is what I would do if you haven't already...

Afterall brakes, tires, steering... places you do NOT try to save $$ on...

Did you grease the slider bolt (think that's the right name) that allows the callipar to move freely? I've never had to replace the callipars in the rear but I did have one of those slider bolts freeze on me and my pads wore unevenly.
