No dude...it's an INTERCEPTOR man.....yeah man my cousin Leroy once tried to run from one'dem there INTERCEPTORS man, he was in his big block Camaro man, dude i tell you what man, that INTERCEPTOR blew his doors off mang.

A couple weeks back I was talking to someone about his fast 67 Mustang. He stated that it was a .060 302 making 511HP. I was interested until he told me that it ran on pump gas, peak HP was at 4800rpm and it ran 10.65 in the 1/4 at 103mph. He supposedly had invested 7k in the motor.
A buddy of mine is building a drag truck. He stated that he chose a 750 Holley, because a larger carb would require race gas. WTF?

lol those are great, here's mine: A guy down the street has a 66 mustang, it has a 347 stroker, he claims it makes like 400, yet it wont spin a tire!!! and then the other guy I know, he has a 93 probe gt, he has an intake manifold on it and some headers and a huge fart can, he was saying that it spun through 4h when he bought it, so I said lets run, my **** wont even spin!! we lined up he did a big burnout, i turned em over a little bit, he says he will beep lol, ok so we take off he goes beep, beep then nails it, never hits the third beep, I take off and laid 7 cars on him lol, then he says it dosent run right and was back firing, I missed 3rd and 4th and still murdered him!!! man If I had $5 for every time I had that excuse after racin them i would have a terminator.
theres no telling how man 500 HP pickups and cars i have blown doors off of.
my friends know me and know that i dont BS when it comes to my car. i tell them what i have done. i dont sauce it up and about HP numbers i tell them around 250 ( b4 boost) and they are like cool. most of them know what real HP is and know that 250 horse in a street car. then there is one friend who is silly and comes up telling how another friend of ours is building a 383 and how it going to push 500 horse easy.
i know the kid and he is building a 383 but i know what he is doing, and its nothing close to 500 horse.
i always love to get into those conversations where the other person KNOWS everything, i just sit there and laugh to myself. while everything they say is complete BS. i just agree and later on me and my GF will ROFL at them later.

My 351 heads have Chevy valves

We had a good one last night. We went to our Saturday night hangout, where there is a range of cars from 18 sec fart can station wagon Toyotas to an 8 second turbo Saleen that gets driven every weekend. We pulled in one of the spots and there was a guy claiming 600hp from a h/c/i s-trim car with 30lb injectors and a 255 in tank with stock lines.
hmm... I made 420 rwhp with a stock cammed GT40X headed, GT40 intaked stock shortblocked 5.0 with a 255 LPH pump, stock rails, and 30 lb injectors at only 10.5 psi. At a 15% drivetrain loss, that's right at 500 hp. I don't know where the limit of the 30 lb injectors is, but I've seen the 255 lph pump make 550 at the wheels, which is well over the 600hp that your guy claimed. He may be full of crap, but I don't think 600hp is too far-fetched with an HCI 5.0 with an S-trim and say 15psi boost.

I agree that it could make the power with enough boost, but it didn't have the boost or the fuel. It had a huge 6 rib blower pulley. My buddy's h/c/i s-trim car ran out of fuel at 390rwhp @ 5200rpm with a 255 and 42s.
What I love is when your 10' from someone, not even say a word to them and then their already telling you EVERYTHING about their car. "Its got nitrous!" "BUILT 351!". Bottles not even hooked up, carbed stock 351 prob out of a truck, draglites with junk street tires.....I was there for the 600 rwhp guy blackened was talking about, some people are just stupid.

For years I've heard rumors of people actually asking "Aren't those the cars that can get like 1000hp if you hook 'em up to a computer?" when it came to Skylines. In my automotive tech class one day, the subject was S2000s...and the guy next to me said it. Like ****, you're in a class learning about cars (7 months into it, in fact)..and you ask that question. Seriously.
