I think i might give the stang the downtime it needs for the swap.... i found a 93 1.8l v6 mazda mx3.... for $1200 i might pick it up as a daily driver till the swap is done.... i still have may probe parts so this is probally a good choice

Shouldn't the V6 be a 2.5L in '93 (same as the Probe GT and MX6)? I though the 1.8L was an I-4?

yes its a 1.8l engine which is a v6 (i think its a K8 )it is one of the smallest v6's that was in production... its a little torquey rev happy engine thats really fun to drive... once the VRIS opens.... VRIS is Variable Intake Resonance System.... which opens different Ports in the intake manifold to shorten or lengthen the air paths... By using the MSD pill switches you can controll where these open to make some extra power.... but the ford probe 2.5l KL03 / KLDE rated at 164 HP is a direct swap... as well as the KLZE which is the j spec engine rated at 200hp... That was the engine i had in my probe...

lol at least your not trading the stang for a probe, id start lmao

somtimes i wish i had a different dd and stang for a fun car

I sold my probe to get my stang... i got $3500 for the probe and picked up the stang for $3900 1 hour later
