I was able to get my pypes cat back on last night. The sound is different than flows which is a plus. It is pretty loud maybe a little louder than I was looking for. Do catbacks have a break in period where the sound changes after some use? I thought I read that on here some where. I may have to throw a couple high flow cats on my O/R H pipe in the future.

How about getting some pics of the catback on there and clips for to hear? Not sure about the Pypes specifically, but most catbacks/mufflers do get louder once broken in - slightly. If your worried about it getting too loud, you can always wait a little while and see how it works out and how you adjust to the sound inside.

I will try to get some pics/ sound clips saturday. The highway at 70-75 mph isn't bad you can have a conversation or drown it out with the stereo easily I have never rode in any other cars with aftermarket cat back except my dads vette that has a borla exhause so I can't compare. It realy gets loud after 2500 rpm up to 4000 then it flatens out. I think I might get some high flow cats off ebay and have them welded in. An o/r pipe is alittle to loud for me but I am getting used to it. The tips that come with the kit are pretty nice they look much better than the stock ones.

I have the pypes cat back on my 98 with the violater mufflers with a mac O/R H PIPE and she sounds great.. to answer the other post about the highway sound..she sounds nice not to bad of a drone more of a rumble:nice: :nice: :nice:
