Lug nut torque specs

Can anyone tell me what the torque specs are for classic stangs (I have a '70 if it matters) and does it matter what wheel type is being used? I have Weld Draglites. I saw a thread on the late model forum that gave a range starting at 95 ft/lbs so right now that is what they are set at.

Thanks

Thanks for all the input guys! I also found a spec list that recommended 75-85lbs for 1/2" lugs but no mention about steel vs. alum wheels. I backed mine down to 80lbs for now but I will also call Weld to see what they suggest.

Yeah, with 80 you will be good to go. When you get a flat fixed the shop just uses the air compressor pressure to seat them, and that most likely varies a lot from shop to shop. I went out and seated mine to 85, and I had to use a lot of torque wrench to get them there. Thay ain't coming off. :nono:
