I have a friend that works at a Ford dealer and just happens to have a set of 3.73's, That is he is going to install in my car for a hundred bucks out the door!!! I couldnt say no!! My car is a 07 5speed. How do these car run with a better gear? I know 4.10's would be the better choice, but its such a good deal for the 3.73's. Also what rpm will i be turnin at 70? Also can dealers correct my speedo with out a programmer? Or is this something i will have to fix with an aftermarket tuner?

The dealer needs to reprogram your computer/speedo for the gear swap. @ 70 in OD(auto), I run about 2500 RPM with 4.10s. That should put the manual just a bit over 2000 with the 3.73s I'm guessing. Awesome deal, but I think I'd still pay the full amount for the 4.10s:D

Its still my wifes daily driver and will be for at least 4 or 5 more years, so we will still be takin it over the road once in a while i just figured for the money.... and for what we are going to do with it, i think it will be a good medium. I have to go ahead and buy her an axle back with all the money i saved on the gear install. I was thinkin about MAC, I had some on my 94GT and loved the sound. How do they sound on these newer cars?

MAC IMHO does not sound too good. SLP all the way. Borla would be a close second though.
