Um its just sickning thinking about it. What i've noticed, is your car will NEVER be "Done". Theres always something you can do to it. Its "done" when you finally totall up how much you've spent and finally stop spending money on it because your broke/in debt up to eye balls or you want other things besides a insanely priced mustang ha.
In my latest project i've been doing i've spent so much that my credit cards companys actually called with a "computer" voice saying they think my credit card is stolen ha. Which is why i couldn't order my cam bearings today cause my c.c's would go through.
I had to get all my orders together so i can run it through the credit card company and it totaled out to be like $21,000
. And i still have like 2500 for engine builder, 2k for dyno/subframes/gears/labor etc./4500 for paint job(2100 in just paint! Damn paint is crazy priced!)/ 3k for tranny and parts/and another like 2-3k left for random pieces(A-100 pump and all new lines etc.)
And my engine isn't chromed out or anything special, but its all brand new and silver. And thats not including the 5500.00 for the car, 2500 in brakes, 1k in ground effects, hood scoop, 600 in rims, 1k in tires, etc..
Honestly its kinda sick when you start comparing things, like i have more in my rotors then my friend bought his pick up for
Or i paid more for my blower and power pipe etc.. then i did for my entire car...
I think after this project i'll be "Done" with my mustang. Although it really won't be done, but my funds say it is. And i still haven't done a black interior conversion w/custom seats and little crap like that. Thats why i'm jelous of people who can enjoy a stock mustang, cause i can't
I could of had 3-4 really nice mustangs that i could of bought up at the Auto auctions(Work at dad's dealerhship) but instead i have one insanely sick(when done) mustang that i'll be to scared to drive. hm... was it smart? I dont think so anymore
