Hey quick question for you guys with this exhaust. I just ordered mine the other day. Was talking to a mustang friend and he told me he thought they make the newer mustangs sound like a truck. I hope not any comments?

The cars is a GT 4.6l, all else is stock

I too ended up with Mac axle back just because I couldn't pass up the deal....and was quite pleased with the sound as opposed to many of the others I have heard (flowmasters incl.) xpipe will be going on tomorrow so i'll try and get a before and after with the exhaust.

I'm going to get my set of mac's today....Heres a sample

I love the sound in this clip:nice:

That's too funny! He's in the same Mustang Club as I am(NVMC). I've heard his car in person and sounds sweet. Of course he does have different cams to go along with the exhaust. I just got done having a serious grudge match with him at our drag day last Sunday. I beat him by maybe a half fender:nice: His shifter was casuing him problems and I made the most of it. We were nearly dead even from just before half track on:D .

what kind of cams does he have in it? Were they installed in that vid..? His car just sounds nice just the sound I'm looking for. I purchased my 07 alloy last monday, havent really been on these boards since I sold my 85 back in 2003.

The video you posted was before cams.
Here is the Comp Stage III cam video

EXCELLENT observation, and I remember that run--I wish my son had videoed that one! That brick wall is part damn Hurst shifter, and I think the tune needs a tweak! The Hurst is extremely stiff and I'm losing time and RPM between every shift. If I could keep the RPMs up the Comp stage III cams could do their job and pull hard with mid and upper range punch. Also, there seems to be a slight "dead" spot in 2nd, and I think I'll take ask JJ from Woodbine Motorsports to drive my car during a test and tune and see if his tune needs a tweak.

All in all, a ton of fun, and I think these NVMC get togethers are an absolute blast.
