thats not a deal!
seriously though, its nothing great imo. low miles, but after that what do you have? nothing special. if i were to buy another fox, i'd buy something cheaper and put a big stroker or something in it.....

i dunno the one for 5.000 is a nice car, i mean clean foxes are getttin 5.000 and with that low of miles, why not. You know its been raced at the circle track, but thats a hell of alot better then being abused at the dragstrip. I would go with 4500 cash and seee if they take that.

i dont think the paint screams 128, 000 at all. Maybe the years make it look like it has that many miles but not the mileage it self. go check it out and see, but its too hard to get away with mileage fraud these days, so i doubt it, better yet give me the vin and i will carfax it for you.

If it's 28K miles its a good deal. That means the window motors, power door locks, power mirror switch, ignition switch, glove box door, carpet, seat belts, and all of the other little (or big) parts that nickle and dime you to death have very little use!

I've only mentioned the parts I've replaced recently...Low mileage doesn't apply only to the drive train - it's all of those parts that add up to thousands of dollars and dozens of hours of time to fix.

I think it's a good deal.

The first one is a sweet deal.
Paint looks faded a bit, but a good detailing every couple of months could get you by for a year or two.

Mods don't add value to a value, original condition does, and it sure would be nice to have a car that hasn't been apart 100 times.

Depends on what you have in mind for the car. If you want something for car shows and/or collectability, then yeah, a totally bone-stock low-mileage Fox would be awesome.

On the other hand, if you're like me and plan on throwing a bunch of goodies into a car and actually plan to drive the snot out of it as often as possible, then mileage is pretty much irrelevant compared to the overall basic condition of the car and what mods have been installed (and HOW they were installed - smartly and professionally, or slapped together by an idiot).

I would like to make a nice weekend warrior and track car. yes mods will be good, but im unexperenced under the hood so i figure that a car thats better put together would be easyer for me to learn on... I can save a trashed fox some other day when i have more experence.

Take a look at the driver's side rear tire and tailpipe. Looks a little rough to me

Poor AOD :( I'm guessin from reading the ad he took that AOD to somewhere it doesn't belong. Time trial to me sounds like a road course and thats the last place I'd ever wanna see an AOD. If you buy the first one you may be purchasing a tranny in the near future.

maybe yawl dident notice the Handycap symbol on his plate. The roll bar may be there because he if worried about his condition on the track. Also the center console was cut off. Maybe for extra room?? Im not sure of his condition but those may be clues...
