Phase one of the mustang transformation is complete :D Fortunately a friend at work is good with a camera and offered to shoot the mustang for me.

My goal is to have a Mustang I can take to the drag strip, track events, and car shows; yet still drive every day. In the end it should handle and perform as well as it looks.

Some of the high-level modifications so far include:
  • Niche 20 inch F18 Black rims
  • Roush springs
  • Steeda end links
  • Stainless steel brake lines
  • Cervinis front upper and lower billet grilles and chin spoiler
  • Shelby rear bumper
  • Bassani mufflers and X pipe
  • CAI with SCT XCalibrator2 Demolet 93 Tune
  • BMR suspension parts
  • Ford 4.10 gears

Additional pictures and information can be found on the site: www.the-stang.com.

Thanks StangNet!

I agree, very nice car! I do have a question though, would you happen to have any still pics of the car not parked in grass? Parking in the grass throws off the whole picture for me for some reason. I'm not a professional photographer by any means, but I think some nice pics on pavement or a white cement, taken towards the end of the day when the sun is setting and the light isn't quite as harsh would come out great and contrast the wheels very nicely!

Again, not bashing, just a friendly observation.

By the way, nice site you've got there! :nice:

Thanks all for the nice comments! I'm planning on a two-tone black paint job next year (pending the $$$ is there) with a Cervinis Cowl hood and Type 3 ducktail spoiler.

I think once that stuff is done I'll see if my friend can re-shoot everything: I'd like to try and find an industrial are or cool looking building for the background.

What do you guys think, is 425 RWHP possible in naturally aspirated form?

I read that on your site and didn't mention anything, but I think 425 is going to be very difficult to reach N/A. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see it, but it seems like the most I've seen people reach with almost all bolt ons I can think of is 350-60ish, and I think that's pretty rare.

Good luck on reaching it, but I think it's going to be very difficult getting there. Is a supercharger out of the question? You would be over that quicker and cheaper, I'm sure.

Yea... I was kinda wondering about the supercharger, it would make things much simpler :) I'll probably end up going that route unless there are some major advances in the next 2 years, either way I better start saving now!
