Does anybody have any ideas on now to cap off the check valve assembly? I have removed the entire system, but still have the pipe connected to the back of the heads. Basically, for years I have had the pipe capped off where the two pipes intersect. I just want to get it out of the way because it has a slight leak where I have capped it off. My problem is how do I cap off the outlet holes on the back of the heads? Trying to find a way to cap them off is not easy with the heads still on the car. I'm sure people have done this before, and was wondering if you could give me some ideas. Thanks in advance!!!!

Yeah, I have removed all of the emissions/smog controls on the car. There is a metal tube that runs from the back of the heads into the air diverter valve. I took all this off years ago, but I capped off the tube/pipe. I want to get rid of this pipe and cap off those outlets that go from the back of the heads into the pipe.

you can plug the holes with (IIRC) a 5/8x11tpi bolt (which i did). A lot of people just use a broken off spark plug which also works just fine. Another thing you could do is just flip the blocks on that tubing around (180*) and rebolt them to the heads also.
