Ok so I'm selling my bike 2004 zx-10r (crotch rocket) Now I had someone offer me a trade for a 95 gt. 302 H/C/I car Custom paint, obviously taken care of. N/A 316/340 rwhp/tq on the dyno, gears, igniton, etc... Only bad this is that it's converted to carb. I bought my bike brand new in 04 for $11k, it now has 4500miles on it, never seen rain...go fast stuff, etc..I'm all for a trade assuming the value is there for the car assuming I were to sell it (not saying I will but not going to trade and loose out) . I can pull around 8k for my bike (really a shame stuff depriciates that much but at any rate) Is this 95 comparable in worth? I have no idea what these car go for anymore....

I would say sell the bike and go find you a SN95 that is ready to be modded the way you want it. I think you could find a good ride for the $4500-5000 range and have money to put nice stuff to it. Just my .02

yea paul, I do see what your saying there. However it's hard to sell a bike. I mean usually ends up being a bunch of tire kickers or kids that think they can afford a bike. I'm in PA and it's parked from now (too cold) till late april. I rode it all of 1000 miles this year. It's just a dust collector. Worse case scenario I can prob sell the car quicker/ w/ less hastle than the bike This is a turn key car, w/ some go that I'll probably have the opportunity to enjoy more that a bike anymore. Think a Clean H/C/I 95 is worth even 7K? I still have my 2 other mustangs w/ all the goodies. This just a nice dailiy driver w/ some go for me. I wouldn't touch anything.

Or just ask for some cash to go with the car (in exchange for your bike).

Is the carb an issue? If it is (emissions, etc) then factor that in (a carb lowers the value IMHO).

Good luck with it.

I mean don't get me wrong, I do prefer FI but I can live with a carb. Obviously the fuel milage isn't going to be there and I also agree with the carb lowering the value and I know that's a tuff sell for a lot of people. Prob not something I would have done but on a good note. I makes some power and I'd imagine it's a nice driver so we'll see how it turns out and if I end up with it or not.
