Heater Core drain?

Exactly what StangGT said. When the heater core goes it drains throught the weep hole so that it doesn't go into the car as much. You will need to replace it, and it really isn't as hard as everyone thinks. I just did one 2 weeks ago, and it wasn't that bad.

for kicks and giggles, take both hoses off and take a garden hose to the outlet side and give a lil blast. over time my gummed up and i had an issue with it. one blast and i was good as new! but thats just my 2 cents on what i think was a lucky break.

lol, then he'll just be leaking water. Sorry for the confusion, all I meant was the core itself doesn't have an installed drain. but of course if it leakes inside that big plastic box it's going to funnel down to where you see it coming out thats all. And it's really not that big a deal to change. Just take your time and keep track of all the little boltscrews and pull slowly

lol, it will be awhile... i live in FL so don't really need it.... but i will replace it... When i took off one of the hoses to the heater core the metal piping came right off out of the firewall! So it was pretty bad... lol
