Be careful, some claim to be the same kits but are in fact axles and brakes off SN95 cars and are NOT the same length axles and the calipers and rotors and mounting brackets are totally different. So be sure to look for SVO specific parts.

Just want to be ready just in case. I am getting the rear end redone and if the axles are worn than it would just make sense to replace them. Going to rebuild the trac lok as well while it's all out.

I am one of those anal guys who does something once and makes sure it's done right!

Anyone know if any of those cobra calipers or FRPP calipers fit our cars?

The 84-86 SVO 5 lug rear axle length with brackets and calipers. The Lincoln Mark VII are one in the same also.

The Lincoln MK VII axles will have the ABS ring so don't freak out...they will work perfectly.

If you keep the front calipers rebuild them with STEEL PISTONS not the oem plastic pieces. I used Stillen.

There are a number pf performance pads available in different compounds to fit your driving style.

To answer your question, they make a Baer dual piston caliper and rotor that will work on the stock foxbody spindles. they are a 12" setup. Not alot of improvement over the 73MM caliper but an advantage. If you were to spend the money it would be wiser to go with the 13" brake upgrade using SN95 spindles.
