Another 351 question

Use the wiring and sensors from your current car, including the ecu...

Your current t5 will bolt up to the 351w block...

there's a link to my site in my sig below. I have a 351w swap page there...

good luck,
jason

Is the 351w going into the 95?

Here is what I see you needing...
Cowl hood (in order to run the van intake manifold. you could swap intakes, but that will cost ~$500+)
Oil pan - you need a double sump pan for the Fox, I don't think the vans had a double sump???
Headers - Getting shorties to swap directly in place of the stockers you have now will be easiest... I think MAC still has the cheapest set out there???
CAMSHAFT - This is where things get tricky... The 92 block is not a roller block. You will need the $$$ link bar lifters, at ~$450.
Or you can run a reduced base circle cam, but they are prone to causing other valvetrain issues... this is a bad option...
The camshaft out of the van will not likely be compatible with your ecu (check the firing order of the van against your 95GT).

The swap should be doable for ~1k to $1,500...

will the firing order be different in the 92LX? Where is a good place to get a oil pan from? Will the one off of the 302 fit? I already have a set of aftermarket headers, they were already on the 302.

302 headers probably won't fit the 351w block

Summit has a Ford pan for the 351w - the 302 pan will not work

The firing order may be different, you will need to research that

Again,
Read through the link I posted above... It should answer a lot of these questions for you...

Feel free to ask with specific questions after that,

everywhere i've looked you have to get new headers, summit has some for like $130. shorties. i opted for bbk long tube ceramic coated swap headers, so i payed a bit more than that, but now i cant lower my car :( it sure sounds great though!

What year are the roller motors? The place that I'm getting the engine from now has a 97and a 94 out of a F250 pickup. Then there is another 94-95 conversion van with a 5.8 also. The original engine that I was going to now has a few parts missing so i need a different one. Also will I have to change fly-wheels?Thanks
