Cheap skinnies and fatties options??

Not a whole lot of options. The 15"s on the back, you'll need to relocate your rear sway bar. Bogart is about the only company currently making wheels that will fit. Weld XPs (I believe) fit, but they've been discontinued for a while now. Bogarts will run you a small mint. Skinnies up front will also require some modifications to fit. Most are just running 17" stockers like Bullitts or the concept upgrade wheels with MT ET Streets or M&H Racemasters. Until you get into the low 11's and below, the modifications required for fatties/skinnies are not worth it. If you plan on driving on the street, just got with the cheater slicks/drag radials and call it a day.

Ya I knew it cost a small mint with these cars thats why I asked. When I had my blown 94 GT and 86' Gn I drove with skinnies and fatties 24 7 on the cheap haha. I was shooting for just throwing on MT DR 275s on the stockers, or find an extra two rims for ET streets like you said.

I'm on a budget, so last season I bought a pair of Saleen replica 17x9" wheels ($115 each) that only weigh 22 lbs each (vs 30.5 lbs for my factory 18" wheels). I put BFG 275/40/17 drag radials on them. Looks kinda funny at the track as the 18" factory front tires are taller than the low profile d/r's, but it works great! (See pic below).

I just bought a used set of '06 17" Charcoal Bullitt wheels from a friend for $250 (for all four with the stock Pirellis). I'll be running the stock Pirellis up front and mounting my D/R's on the rear, so at least the wheels will all match next racing season and I'll save some weight vs the 18's on my car. Plus, my GT will retain its sleeper look.

Is it a possibiity putting race tires on the space saver spare wheels? I haven't tested it yet, but do they even fit the front or do we have to mount the spare on the rear and put the rear tire up front:shrug:

What are the spec's on your rear wheels? I would like to get as much info from you as I can as far as width and backspacing. If possible could we see a pic of the rear tires from the back of the car looking down the side of the car to get an idea of how close to the fender lip the tires get?

Your car looks great.

I ran a set of pro stars this summer but did'nt like the fit because i had to run a 1" spacer all the way around to get them to clear. I am ordering a set of bogarts for this next season weld makes a sweet set of 17s but they are crazy high priced: http://store.summitracing.com/partd...4294923105+400100+4294793320+115&autoview=sku
