I might trade this guy he has a 89 fox, i have a 02 GSX-R 1000.
I went to go look at this fox lastnite.. it has a motor craft replacment engine (40k on it) and a fairly new T-5. UD Pulleys, CAI, headers, O/R H, flows, 3:55's, shifter, gauges on the piller. Elc fan, with 4core rad.

Parts that are not installed are,

5 lug conversion
03 COBRA rims with new tires (275's)
Dumps

Now the bad,

The car is primered.. all the body work is done, car is straight.
Needs driver door window (he said he whould by me one after the X mas)
Needs driver door handle.
Needs New battery, and trae.
Has no A/C

I think that's all for the bad i'm sure theirs more tho..

Where whould i be able to buy the parts it needs?

I really always wanted a fox!! But this one need's a few thing's to get it back up..
He's the 2nd owner, said its never been in an accident.

What do you people think of this 89 LX i might trade straight across?

eehhhhhh.... i'd be very weary of a primered car to start. you don't know what kind of work is done to it underneath. second, what do you think your gixxer is worth?? its hard to say, but my guess is that the car is maybe worth ~$3500... but that depends on a lot of things. search the local classifieds and see what similar cars are getting in your area, and compare it to what your bikes worth.

you can pretty much build an entire fox car from www.latemodelrestoration.com and there are plenty of other aftermarket 5.0 dealers where you can get almost anything you could imagine.

I hate trades. Typically one person always gets the short end of the stick. In this case, i would think it would be you.

Sell your bike outright and then buy his car. You might find yourself with some extra cash in your pocket to get it up and running

Yeah i see what you guy's are saying.. My bike does need a lttle work. right now it wont go past 7 rpm.. i think it needs a fuel pump or spark plugs? And it needs tires. and it has been droped once. So it's not perfect.

i agree w the guys and never rely that someone will take care of you later w parts or whatever. not saying people are bad but they tend to forget on purpose. lol
