WHAT IS YOUR MOTOR COMBO

  • Sponsors (?)

Info on the coupe is in my sig, these dyno numbers are with my old set up of Cobra intake and GT40 iron heads. Haven't dynoed with the new set up which is Hogan upper and Trick Flow lowers. Hoping for better #'s. Also on this dyno sheet was with the timing locked out at 20 degrees, I have since installed an XPI timing lock box ,now the initial timing is set @14 degrees and when the box senses boost it locks @18 degrees, big improvement, and I think that will help produce some bigger #'s.

On my 93 Cobra I went with stock block, mid length headers, and Trick Flow Track Heat upper and lowers that got massaged by Ron Robart @ Foxlake, and that made 315/342 rear wheel, and with 410's it's alot of fun on the street.

AFR 165's, PS3 springs and basic valve job, rest is stock; FTI custom cam (the heart of the combo) eddy rpm intake, scorpion 1.6 rockers, 24lb injectors, 65mm t/b, pro mass 24lb meter, moroso cai, march u/d pulleys (not running alt pulley) mac 1 5/8 unequal shorties, vrs o/r xpipe, mac catback, pro 5.0 shifter, 3.73 gears. It put down 299.9rwhp & 320rwtq on a dynojet untuned. It still has stock injectors, stock fuel pump, & a 93 Cobra Maf, so it did lean out a bit on the top end. I will be adding 24# injectors, C&L maf, & a 255lph pump soon. Due to the huge manifold, it isnt much on the low end, but pulls like a raped ape from 4000-6000, even with crappy 3.08 gears. Once I build a bottom end, I will install a better cam, but with the 2.02 valves, PTV clearance is slim, so anymore of a cam would cause problems...
