what should i do?

hey im building my first mustang. so far i got a 302 block out if a 93 cobra, stock crank, stock connecting rods, and a f303 cam. planing on puting it in a fox body. so i was thinking about the gt40 heads ported and the street heat intake ported to match. im gonna bore the block over .030. would that be a decent set up and what kind of numbers could i expect. 300??

Go with the GT-40P's. They flow more out of the box. If you add some porting, you're that much ahead. If you're going with a street motor, shoot for high 9's to 10.5:1 compression. A boost in compression will net some good power. if you're planning on a blower later though, leave it around 8.5:1.

i would put the trick flow heads on it. stay with the cam u have put some bigger headers on it. on the intake i would get 1 to go with the heads 24 pound inj, 70mm tb, bigger mass air, with that if u can drive i think low 12 high 11 on motor

what compresion should i aim for so i can still drive it on the street but spray it when i go to the track?

9.5 to 10.0 to 1 on 93 octane

with the f303 cam should i run 1.7 roller rockers? Stock lenth push rods?

With the F303 cam you will need to go with 1.6RR and higher lift springs. Stock springs are .500 lift and the cam is above that.
