I am looking to get new tires in the next month and I was wondering for those of you who have these tires what sizes are you running, i'm on the stock rims and I was wondering if i should go with a 245/40 or a 255/40 or stagger them? I'm going to get a programmer around the same time as the tires so it's not a big deal cause i will change with speedo with the programmer... any suggestions or complaints about these tires?

You will get some replies soon. I've heard nothing but compliments about them really. I have heard they are noisy but I figure exhaust and stereo can drown that out. Those are the tires I'm going for on my 18's in the spring. Good choice! :nice:

I have an o/r x so road noise is the least of my concerns, and that is the only compliment i have read about them as well, i didn't know whether to go with those or the t/a kd's it is my daily driver and i drive about 10k annually but plan on sellin it over the summer so tire wear isn't that big of deal to me

They are a great tire imo. I run 295/35/18 on rear and 265/35/18 on the front. I have had them on for about 3k miles. So far they are great, I dont drive the stang much in the winter though. The noise is nothing to complain about really. I mean honestly how can you even hear them with your exhaust is how i look at it. They are pricey but grip great and have no sign of wear at all after 3k miles. I will be buying them again, I hope this helps.

I absolutely love these tires!!

The first time I got those tires it was a set (275/40/17's) for the rear, I bought (used with about 80% tread on them) for 80.00 mounted and balanced from a local shop. They were on for a good 10k-12k miles ( I drive a bit, but It took all my self control not to turn them into white smoke) I was so impressed with thier performance, both wet and dry I bought a brand new set for the rear from www.discounttiredirect.com for a pretty good price. I rate them better than Nitto's persoanlly.

That is what i'm goin to go with is 255/40/17 all the way around so i can rotate them, i figured about 800 for the set and getting them mounted. $160 a tire on tirerack.com if anyone has found a better price please let me know, thanks for everyone's help

noise isn't a problem. I can't hear anything over the magnapacks

what I need to get away from is the tramlining that I get from the nittos. It drives me insane. It wanders all over the place. Multiple alignments and tire balancing has made it a little less, but it's still there

i run 295/35/18 and 265/35 18 and i noticed nothing as far as sound goes and the tires are great.they not only perform great but the look good doing it.only tires i will buy are bfgs.they are a tad pricey but i got mine from discount tire direct for 915 shipped.
