Cervinis concept hood...

i think their website says it will work with any cold air kit that keeps the factory location of the air filter. personally i wouldnt get the ford kit, i would get a diablo or SCT and a steeda or BBK CAI kit. usually you can get those cheaper than the ford kit and the tuner will give you more freedom to change some parameters to fit your driving style and car better.

Generally between 250 and 500, depending how much work is needed. I just got my cervinis ram air to replace my eleanor style hood..

Generally with cervinis there is very little work required, however I am a bit more picky than the usual consumer. I want the corners blocked with a finer edge, and the area around the headlamps tapered slightly.

Here's a shot of it mocked in, will be painted for 275.00:

I should get a decent performance gain with this Ram Air hood/Ram air kit and a JLT cold air intake/xcal3 tune right?

I like the look of it Erin...it gives it a whole new look! Hey, did you move the hood pins in from before??? Looks like it. Let me know when you can get the Eleanor hood in to your guy for me. I know there is no hurry since my car is going no where fast, but you know me! :D

Oh and let me know when u need some cash!

to get them off the sideward downslope of the hood since it tips forward as well, trying to get the pins to sit flat on the hood versus being slightly tilted.. Just gettin picky with the end result is all..

By the way your powder is finished, picking up on sunday so we'll need to square up tomorrow..

If you have watched body panels previously you know that sheet metal is rounded and sometimes leave an undesireable appearance at all of a hoods edges. With blocking you define the edge more clearly thus giving a crisp edge. The cool thing about it is you can angle the edge a hair so that when standing to the side of the car you don't see down into the gap, the angle created by the blocking makes it appear cleaner asthetically. I am fairly anal about my vision and even though I'm not a body guy, I want things a specific way.

ive had concept hood on for a few months...

ive had concept hood on for a few months, it dosent change body lines, no goofy cowl.:nice:

looks nice, and hasnt given me any trouble, except had to get stronger hood struts for the weight.

Cervini Concept Hood

I have the concept hood, but do not have the ram air kit. I have a Demolet CAI with SCT custom tune. I like the look of the hood...it really sets of the front, but is not too aggressive. Hope this helps.
