I ordered the fms piece,:nice: It should fit like a glove without any grinding. Ive also heard of some people having problems with the other brands as far as longevity, but I havnt heard anyone complain about the ford piece.

Worth it to me for a few extra bucks.

According to the overview, these are for 79-93 cars and the pulley is plastic. So will they fit the SN cars?

hey im thinking the belt is a 895k6. I couldnt find the old belt package. Best way to do it is leave your old belt on. Take some string and rap the string around the pulleys the way it would go on by passing the smog. That will give you a ball park measurement. Im wanting to say i got one size below and one size bigger than the 895k6. Im also including a routing diagram of how it should be routed. Good luck click on the link and it will show the summer and fall if you also wanna by pass the a/c. By the way im running stock pulleys.

After I deleted the smog pump, I used an 89.5" belt and it worked fine. When I swapped out the stock crank pulley for an ASP underdrive unit, I needed an even shorter Gates 86.8" belt.

sorry to revive this thread but what if i decided i wanted to take off the smog pump and the ac. i dont want to take the a/c compressor off though. just not have it spinning with no coolant in it. what inch belt would i need with stock pulleys?

slightly off topic but...
on the passenger side on the firewall where the two AC lines go into the firewall i have some greenish (coolant looking fluid) slowly slowly leaking out of where the 2 lines went into
is that actually coolant?
how should i plug those up or can i leave them open as i have them now?

I dont think you can just bypass the smog pump on a 94-95 model I have a 95 and couldnt figure out how I bought the mac smog pump delete and alu underdrive with air compressor ani I need a belt that is 1/2 -1" shorter the belt is mighty close at the water pump.

If those two hoses are about 1" in diameter and come from the dual black metal pipes that run along the top of the engine then those are for your heater. They transfer coolant to and from the heater core under your dash. The two 'S' shaped hoses probably need replacing. Might as well get a complete hose replacement kit and do all of them.

My smog delete is going bad.. I would like to see a belt routing diagram for no smog no ac and belt length???

I have both the smog and ac deleted on my '94 Cobra with stock pullies and have a Gates Micro V K060806. I have mine routed like the below drawing I whipped up in paint.

bingo. delete pullies are a waste of money.

ok.. I just finished removing my P.O.S. UPR smog delete pulley.. There was about 1/2" of play in it and it had like 4000 miles on it.. I used a 78" belt and I also don't have AC.. The only problem is the belt length has to be exact because there isn't really any belt wrap over the tensioner so it doesn't take up much slack.. All is good now :D
