It's not super hard if you have done it before or have installed car audio equipment before. Mach 460 delete's just takes a lot of time and patience. You gonna install new amps too?

well I have installed a few things and no I am not gonna do amps yet I am just gonna or should I say I would like to wire the car with all new wire and take out the stock stuff, unless I can reuse the speaker wire and just change the actual cd player itself? but what is involved in rewiring the car what do I have to take off in order to get to it and I am especially worried about the back dont wanna scratch anything or break any tabs or anything any help would be really appreciated!!!

You can swap the head unit and not change the rest of the system f you want. Are you wanting to gut the whole system or just install another HU?

+1 alot of these pro-shops will want to rip out everything mach460 related and put all new wiring, speakers, etc. However, you can simply take out the HU and use a wiring harness adapter to put a new aftermarket HU in while utilizing the old wiring and amps. if you got a bit of patience and logic skills, you can save a nutload of money by installing the new HU yourself without riping everything out.
