i have looked all around different forums at pictures and part numbers, looked at the pictures on summit racing, and asked my friends and nobody seems to be able to tell me WTF flywheel this is. can you? would it really be that much of a burden on Ford to put the g0d damned number on the thing since there are 28 oz and 50 oz flywheels that look alike?

thanks!!!

AWESOME!!! I figured somebody would quickly put me out of my misery with an 'Oh yeah that's obviously a XX ouncer'.

Scorpion & Sublime: I see exactly what you are saying. That confirms what I suspected.

Seriously, Thanks folks.

And fwiw to answer the question, the part number is RF-EIZR6380-AA with a 'B' encircled then a little symbol with 282P in it followed by a 4...but none of this matters if what I've read is true, which is none of that will tell you whether it's a 28 or 50 ouncer! Right?!

Piece,

Jon

Thanks for the help. I'm getting the car ready for a NASA HPDE at VIR in February and the to-do list, it seems, never gets any shorter!!! The car will be pulling double duty in HPDE 1 and HPDE 2, so I want to make sure everything is good to go to avoid any preventable mechanical failures.

Please tell me you are going to have that thing resurfaced before you put it on your car. Make sure you put some "gray" RTV sealant on the flywheel bolts and have a buddy hold the crank while you torque them down. After it's bolted up clean it real good with some Brakecleen(this removes all the grease and oils from your hands) then put your clutch and PP on. Good luck, hope she does well at VIR.
